Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your kind words!
I'm compiling a list of all the requested features, from the Feature Requests list, but also from the different forum topics and posts.
I'll make sure to include this request as well. :)
All the best,
Julien
Dear Julien,
I personally love polataroute as it is for many years. Thank you for it! And hope that indeed it will stay as it is as e..g for me, one of the reason i chosen you to not use within an app. LOL.
There is one more thing I would like to ask you to be kind and consider to implement: Garmin recognizable course point. At the moment, Notes/Labels and Navigaton turns indeed recognize dby teh Garmin watch, and works perfectly. BUT would be awesome, if these turning points would be stored in the FIT file as well as Course Points, so garmin devices would list them at "Ahead" data screen. This is currently only possible using Garmin connect, though ti is simply structural question, I checked the FIT sdk, and since you can export FIT file, shouldnt be a huge development.
BIG heratfelt thank you for considering to add this,
Your loyal client, Andrew
Hi Julien. Thank you for this, it's very comprehensive!
Hi!
No worries about asking this here. Clarifying all of this will, without a doubt, benefit others as well. =)
First of all, I apologise for taking quite some time to get back to you.
Is the promise of a year's membership of Visorando still available to Premium members?
I'd also like to understand if this year begins when the Plotaroute subscription begins or perhaps some other activation date and what is the process for linking the accounts to achieve this?
Yes! Plotaroute Premium users do get access to Visorando Premium.
But to be very specific and to answer your third question, the Visorando Premium access you get is of the same length as your Plotaroute Premium membership.
Therefore, if you stay Premium for more than a year, you'll have access to Visorando Premium for more than a year as well.
However, if you link your Plotaroute account to Visorando after several months of Premium, you'll only have access to Visorando Premium for the remaining months (if you don't renew your Plotaroute Premium membership of course).
The process is as simple as clicking on the "Link to Visorando" button in the top bar of Plotaroute. More on this here.
If so does it apply immediately if I upgrade from my current free account?
As soon as you go Premium on Plotaroute, you can click on "Link to Visorando", and the Premium status will also transfer to Visorando.
Also, because I get this question quite a lot through the support:
When a Standard user links their account to Visorando for the first time, they'll get a three-day Premium trial.
This is also the case if you create an account on Visorando, without coming from Plotaroute.
This does not lead to a paid subscription after the trial.
After three days, the Visorando account just reverts to Standard.
I hope this helps!
Feel free to ask further questions about this. :)
All the best,
Julien

I've found Plotaroute by far the most useful and functional method of route planning and I've also just begun trying the Visarando. I'd like to understand the situation before I begin my Plotaroute upgrade.
Apologies if this is not the correct place for this question. I am new to using this forum and haven't yet found these answers using search.
Happy to hear that Plotaroute will continue. It has become a critical tool for me that I would happily pay more for if needs be.
Good news for the future!
Thanks for sharing
