I have a feature request regarding KML exports and distance markers, from a long-time premium subscriber.
Currently, when exporting a route, I have to choose either miles or kilometers for distance markers. It would be very helpful to have the ability to include both unit systems on the same map. In addition, I would like to be able to control the frequency of each type of marker.
For example, I often need:

Markers every 1 mile

Markers every 5 kilometers
Ideally, the export options would allow users to:

Enable multiple unit systems at once (e.g., miles and kilometers), and

Specify the interval for each (such as every mile, every 0.5 mile, every 5 km, every 10 km, etc.).
This would make KML exports much more flexible and would eliminate the need to generate and manage multiple files to achieve the same result. It would be especially useful for users working with certified race courses or events that reference both measurement systems.

Thank you for this very detailed request. I see how this would be especially valuable for event organisers.
I've just added it to the requested features list I share with the IT team.
If this gets worked on, I'll make sure to update this topic.
