I'm unaware of any voluntary change that would result in such an outcome.
Could you share the coordinates of a location where this happens to you?

What change has occurred that when I plot a route it randomly forces it to the sidewalk although I clearly position the two points in the centre of the road? I have been using this product for years and never seen this behaviour before.
This does not seem related to Left, Middle or Right alignment selection. To get around it, I need to plot small sections at a time ensuring it does not force use of the sidewalk.
Is there a configuration setting that needs to be changed?
