From rom the Poacher, make your way up Tan House and into the woods on the right after Skyes Crescent. Take the central path with the steep slopes up on the right. Glead Wood eventually thins out to a path with fields either side. At the top, go under the M6 viaduct and turn left through a series of gates, sticking to the left paths. One more field after the footbridge, make your way to the right corner and follow the track. At Brockstedes Road, turn right and follow to Booths Brow Rd. Turn right, at around 200yds up you will see a small black gated entrance to Rectory Church of Holy Trinity. To return, you can continue along the road to Leyland Green Rd, bringing you out onto Winstanley Road (2 mile stretch) and up to Windy Arbour.

About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
