Robin Hood Ball/Stonehenge/Durrington Circular
The beauty lies in the views across Salisbury Plain and also back towards Durrington on the first section. Some of the walk, fairy straight and a bit uninteresting to be honest, but broken up by a couple of rusting old tanks, the racecourse as there were horses getting exercise and some bronze age barrows and a few long barrows to boot! Take your pick! The best one, that I saw, I have marked on the map (https://ancientmonuments.uk/108267-knighton-long-barrow-figheldean).
Robin Hood's Ball, a causewayed enclosure (https://ancientmonuments.uk/107808-robin-hoods-ball-causewayed-enclosure-shrewton) was what I really wanted to get a close look at, but sadly there was no access to the field and barely anything to really tell it was even there!
Can't complain about the second half of the walk though. The Cursus, Stonehenge, The Avenue, The King's barrow's, Durrington Walls and Woodhenge - what's not to love!
