The Hills to Harbour Trail is a series of self-guided walking routes that link the stations along the railway line between Guildford and Portsmouth. You can walk between any pair of stations. Walk 07 takes you from Liphook to Liss railway station.
There is a cafe van and some local shops near Liphook Station. There is pub near the route in Rake and a cafe in the garden centre close by. There is a pub by the route at Hill Brow and, at Liss, there is a cafe, a pub, and various restaurants/takeaways.

The route uses sections of several long distance paths: The Serpent Trail, The Sussex Border Path, and The New Lipchis Way. The most substantial section is along The Serpent Trail (see link below.)

About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
