Up to the Billy Goat pub and take the lower path all the way to the brick works. Turn right and join the Oldham Way up and over Lees Road, over Quickedge, down on to Strawberry Lane, turn left upto the farm on the right. Go through the farm gate until you reach the stables. At the stables go down diagonally to the opening in the fence. Go down on to Stockport Road turning left and then right across the field crossing the railway line. Follow the path round onto Church Road right over the canal right again until you reach Calf Lane. At the top of Calf Lane, cross Manchester Road and continue up onto the bridle path. Turn right and go along the bridle path until you reach the right fork that brings you down to Three Counties. Head up Mill Lane but immediately after the railway bridge turn left up Brookfields onto Stamford Road finishing at the market ground.

About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
