MG-NE 2 Tilly’s Via Wetreins Lane For F&E
This one takes in a lot of favourite lanes and Tilly’s is open 7 days a week now.
There are some cracking narrow lanes, but not a route after bad weather or any rain to be fair, as many of them have alsorts of crap and dust in the middle, let alone farm mud.
The route is tricked up to provide them many lanes they have hardly ever ridden, especially the bit from Tilston to Cholmondley castle.
After the cafe, we Come back via peckforton ridge and Bickerton hill for protection from the NE wind and then down hill through Tilston. I would go back via Stretton and Carden park for protection, where as F&E will have a headwind from Holt, so they should go via Borras, a cross wind- ish, but then protection through Marford and the long down hill.
