The rest is the fast way home, with a tailwind all the way. It’s only 10 miles to Holt, so there are many options of sticking to the roughy or extending a few more miles via Bruera & Platt’s lane or even Waverton etc, but then from Waverton it would be a cross headwind down the canal road.
