We slapen in de Memmingerhütte waar we de volgende dag bij eerste gelegenheid weer op pad gaan. Het kan op 2200 meter aardig fris zijn en zelfs sneeuwen, al zijn er ook tijden dat het warmer is. We nemen gevulde thermoskannetjes en wat brood mee uit de hut.
We wandelen licht omhoog naar de unterer Seewiesee, een groot bergmeer. We gaan steiler omhoog hoog alpien gebied in, waar de Mittler Seewiesee ligt. We klimmen langs staalkabels verder omhoog naar de Seescharte die op 2591 meter ligt, 1800 meter van de hut. Dat is meteen de grootste klim van vandaag, moeilijk alpien terrein. Daarna wordt het voornamelijk dalen, lang en vaak steil en moeizaam terrein, ook wel makkelijkere stukken, maar met prachtige uitzichten.
Op 4,3 km D+366 D-803 [9,9] hebben we Almhütte Oberlochalm, een kopje thee of koffie en wat lekkers gaat er vast in. Untere Lochalm is gesloten, maar daar staat ook een bankje in de buurt op 7,1 km (etappe 2,8 km D+3 D-243), [7,1]
Verder staan er bankjes op 10,9(etappe 6,6 D+45 D-685) [3,3]11,1+11,2(etappe 6,8/6,9 D+45 D-704/707) 11,8 (etappe 7,5 D+45 D-798 of tov 7,1 (etappe 4,6 D+42 D-552)[2,4]
En bankjes in Zams zelf op 12,1-13,2 en nog veel meer.
We steken de Inn over en lopen het centrum van Zams in, openbare toilet en water op 14 km en op 14,2 km op het dorpsplein bij VVV en kerk worden wij opgehaald. Voor JP 45 minuten rijden
Postgasthof Gemse, wat ernaast ligt is een prima plek om avondeten te nuttigen, als het niet te vroeg is.
