Bergtour Rund Um Den Großen Widderstein
Deze rondwandeling rond de Widderstein, de al van ver zichtbare bewaker van het dal, begint in Baad en start met een gematigde klim naar de Bärgunthütte. Van daaruit gaat het - iets steiler stijgend - over een bergpad omhoog naar de Hochalppass. Op de hoogte steekt u de zuidelijke uitlopers van de Widderstein over met uitzicht op Warth en de Hochtannbergpass en gaat u verder naar de beherste Widdersteinhütte. Van daaruit leidt het pad over grover gesteente naar beneden naar de Obere Gemstelalpe. Een kort stukje is wat blootgesteld, maar wordt met touwen beveiligd en loopt door een kloof en vervolgens door een gordel van bergdennen naar Bernhards Gemstelalp. Van daaruit loopt een gematigd bergpad door het Gemsteltal uit het dal en links langs de Breitach terug naar Baad.
