Bergtour Zur Fiderepasshütte
De tocht voert vanuit het dorp Schwendle in Mittelberg via de Wiesalpen over een bergpad door het Wildental naar de Fluchtalpe. Van daaruit gaat het via haarspeldbochten steiler omhoog, eerst over alpenweiden, dan door een bos en omhoog naar een groot keteldal. Voor de laatste klim naar de Fiderepasshütte volgt u het bergwandelpad over een puinveld naar een hoogplateau tussen de Oberstdorfer Hammerspitze en de Schafalpenköpfe. Vanaf het terras van de Alpenvereinshütte van de DAV-sectie Oberstdorf heeft u een ongeëvenaard panoramisch uitzicht over de bergen van Oberstdorf en de Allgäu tot aan het Kleinwalsertal met de hoog oprijzende Ifen. De afdaling gaat vanaf de Fiderepasshütte over het hoogplateau via dezelfde weg terug, totdat het bergwandelpad afbuigt richting Innere Kuhgerenalpe. Langs de bergflank naar de beherste alpenhut en hier via talrijke, smalle haarspeldbochten weer terug naar het Wildental. Van daaruit via de bekende route terug naar het startpunt van de tocht.
