Oberen Höhenweg Hirschegg-Baad + Bärgunttal
De wandelroute met prachtig uitzicht begint bij het bergstation van de Heubergbahn en voert door sparren- en bergahornbossen en over weiden op de hellingen van de Heuberg, langs de Sonna-Alp en de Bühlalpe. Na de Bühlalpe gaat het over een geasfalteerd kronkelpad tussen schaduwrijke varenbossen en bergweiden via de Hofstatt naar Mittelberg. Als alternatief leidt een minder steil pad vanaf de Bühlalpe via de Erleboden naar beneden in het dal. Tijdens de hele wandeling kunt u genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht van de Kanzelwand tot in het Wilden- en Gemsteltal – niet voor niets wordt de Höhenweg ook wel Panoramaweg genoemd.
Door de talrijke mogelijkheden om op en af te dalen is de wandeling ideaal voor gezinnen met kinderen of voor actieve senioren. Wie de afdaling via de Bühlape naar Mittelberg te ver vindt, kan bijvoorbeeld de Zaferna-stoeltjeslift gebruiken om af te dalen. Wie de wandeling wil verlengen, kan de Höhenweg tot aan Baad volgen.
