Bergwanderung Auenhütte Zur Schwarzwasserhütte
Deze wandeling voert van de Auenhütte via de Medlöde naar de Schwarzwasserhütte. Het Schwarzwassertal is een geologisch en botanisch zeer interessant zijdal van het Kleinwalsertal en een toevluchtsoord voor vele diersoorten. Vanaf de Auenhütte bij het dalstation van de Ifenbahn voert de wandeling langs de Herzsee over een licht stijgend wandelpad langs de Schwarzwasserbach in ongeveer een uur naar het einde van het Schwarzwassertal. Daar ligt de Alpe Melköde, die in de zomer beheren wordt. Vanaf hier volgt de iets steilere klim naar de Schwarzwasserhütte door een botanisch interessant hoogveengebied. Altijd in het zicht zijn de Hohen Ifen in het noorden, de Steinmandl en Grünhorn in het westen en de Ochsenhofer Köpfe in het zuiden. De terugweg naar het dal volgt dezelfde route.
