Nordic Walking-Runde Durchs Gemsteltal
Deze nordic walking-tocht begint in het centrum van Mittelberg. Langs de Moosstraße loopt de route langs de helling naar het deel Stütze. Van hieruit gaat het via een voetpad over de Jörihalde naar beneden naar de hoofdweg. Hier splitst de aanvankelijk nog geasfalteerde Gemstelweg zich af. De route loopt langs de Gemstelhof-winkel en over een houten brug naar een schaduwrijk bosgedeelte naast de Breitach. Houd bij de eerste afslag rechts aan en volg het licht stijgende grindpad in het bos en aan de voet van de indrukwekkende hellingen van de Bärenkopf en de Kleine Widderstein verder naar het Gemsteltal. Het alpine landschap met de Elfer, Zwölfer en Kleine Widderstein en de idyllische vallei met de bergbeek en de talrijke alpenhutten maken deze route bijzonder aantrekkelijk. Als u het wandelpad het dal in volgt, steekt u de Gemstelbach over en loopt u via de alpenweiden van de Alpe Schönesboden licht dalend weer het dal uit. Daarna loopt het pad het bos in en langs de Breitachweg weer terug in de richting van Mittelberg. Bij de afslag van de Wildentalstraße verlaat u de Breitachweg en loopt u via een korte, steile klim terug naar het centrum van Mittelberg.
