Gehrenspitze Trail
De Gehrenspitze Trail begint bij het dalstation van de Kanzelwandbahn en loopt direct onder de kabelbaan op een steil, schaduwrijk pad naast de Kesslerlift naar de Riezler Höhenweg. Volg deze weg uit de vallei tot aan de NaturErlebnisplatz am Schwand. Houd vanaf hier rechts aan en volg een steile, wortelige singletrail langs de Riezler Alpe richting Gehrenspitze. De trail is vrij steil; op slechts 3 kilometer wordt hier 800 meter hoogteverschil overwonnen. Eenmaal op de bergkam aangekomen, wordt het bos dunner en heeft u een prachtig uitzicht op het Kleinwalsertal en het naburige Allgäu. Na een korte pauze op de topbank van de Gehrenspitze volgt de afdaling over de reeds bekende trail.
