LuibeiltwithSiân_Oct2025-Hike Option 2
Day 1 - Kinlochleven to Luibeilt via An Cumhann.
Day 2 - Luibeilt to Glas Bheinn via Staoineag Bothy and Beinn na Cloiche. Summit camp on Glas Bheinn or thereabouts.
Day 3 - Glas Bheinn to Kinlochleven via Alexander Mackonochie memorial, Blackwater Dam and the Navvies Graveyard.
Notes:
When water levels are low in the Abhainn Rath it is possible to cross via the rocks in the channel near Luibeilt and via the stepping stones below Staoineag Bothy. If water levels are high we won't be able to visit Meanach Bothy and will only be able to access Staoineag Bothy by foot south of the river.
If we can't cross any of the channels below the dam then we can get back to Kinlochleven via the track or pipeline to the north of the River Leven.
