Chirk Castle Gardens Route
The Baton will make its grand arrival at Chirk Castle in true style, transported by motorcycle and sidecar before being carried by our Baton Bearers up the impressive driveway. From there, the Baton will be walked through the castle grounds, even making its way up to the rooftop and around the beautiful gardens.
While the Baton journey continues, our Chirk Castle Hope Hub will be buzzing with activity. You can look forward to a special performance by the Llangollen Silver Band, a powerful talk from guest speaker Aled Edwards from Sut Mae Dad, and a captivating demonstration from the House of the Blackstar medieval re-enactment group. There’ll also be complimentary refreshments to enjoy as you soak up the atmosphere.
Once the celebrations are complete, the Baton will be escorted back down the driveway, supported by Blood Bikes and Mental Health Motorbikes alongside the Baton Bearer. It will then set off on its next adventure — travelling by tractor — towards our third Hope Hub of the day at Chapel Tearoom in Trevor.
