A little bit of fartlek tonight!
remember the 2k at the start is a warm up! this can be nice and chatty, a good time to catch up with your mates and prepare your body for being pushed a little bit more!

We're going to leave the park up the Parade> left onto Warwick street>left onto Milverton Terrace>across Warwick New Road> down Milverton Hill> right onto Adelaide Road and into the park over the bridge.

Fartlek is a type of interval training that is less rigid and uses EFFORT rather than pace as the guiding metric (this means is down to how you feel and how much push you've got in you)
You can use landmarks like trees or lampposts or other things as your guides (eg when I get to the next lamppost I'll stay at 70% effort for 5 lamp posts OR I'm going to stay at 90% effort until I get to that dog OR I'm going to stay at 50% effort until the chorus of Shake It Off by Taylor Swift)

When returning we will go under the bridge>along York Promenade and over the bridge into PRG
