Rondje Om Amersfoort XL
De routemeesters van Tempo Soest maken hele fijne routes. Dit is zo'n voorbeeld daarvan. Rondje om Amersfoort brengt je van Soest even in Amersfoort maar na de dierentuin en de beroemde afdaling van Laan 1914 kom je in het prachtige buitengebied over brede wegen en goede fietspaden. Je fietst langs het Valleikanaal en gaat over de Eem. De route is vlak. Op het viaduct over de A1 bij Terschuur zijn punten te verdienen voor het 'bergklassement'. Op de route heb je geen stoplichten. Alleen in Soest, Amersfoort en op het laatste stukje in Bunschoten wordt het verkeer in totaal op vijf plekken geregeld met verkeerslichten.
