Gassen Langs De Plassen
Je doet je warming-up kronkelend over het Jan van den Bosch pad met magistrale vergezichten op moerassen, waterpartijen en vogelzwermen in de Oostvaardersplassen. Dan draai je het gladde asfalt van de Oostvaardersdijk op, ideaal om flink gas te geven. Op de slingerende fietspaden van het Hollandse Hout neem je even gas terug om van de beschutting van het bos te genieten. Het gladde asfalt van de Praamweg loodst je dwars door de wetlands. Graslanden, rietvlaktes, bossen en grote kuddes konikpaarden zoeven voorbij. Verder gaat het naar De Grote Trap, een nieuwe natuurstrook tussen Almere en Zeewolde. Via de Vogelweg rijd je Almere in. Stadslandgoed De Kemphaan is beslist de moeite van een koffiestop waard. Almere heeft sowieso een paar verrassingen voor je in petto. Zo fiets je onder de kabelbaangondels van het in aanbouw zijnde Floriade-terrein en rijd je door de duinen in de strandwijk Duin. Na de Lepelaarplassen blaas je nog een keer over de Oostvaardersdijk.
