Zeeuwse Windroute
De Zeeuwse Wind Route voert door het schilderachtige landschap van de Zeeuwse eilanden, over de imposante Zeelandbrug en langs de indrukwekkende Oosterscheldekering. De rondrit is zorgvuldig gemarkeerd met wit-rode bordjes en is ontworpen om met de klok mee te rijden. Maar de vrijheid ligt bij jou als renner, want je bepaalt zelf het start- en eindpunt van dit micro-avontuur. Onderweg geniet je van fraaie vergezichten, de serene aanblik van de zee en het geluid van het water. De bruggen die je oversteekt zijn niet alleen een verbinding tussen land en water, maar bieden ook een moment van bezinning en bewondering voor de vindingrijke waterwerken. De route voert enerzijds over afgelegen weggetjes, door uitgestrekte polders en fraaie dijken. Anderzijds trap je over brede fietspaden naast de N-wegen, zoals op de Zeelandbrug en Oosterscheldekering op Neeltje Jans. Deze nodigen uit om de hardcore wielrenner in jezelf te ontdekken. Het zijn fietspaden, die afhankelijk van de wind, je doen vliegen of stoempend laten afzien.
