Polders En Puisten In Het Rijk Van Nijmegen
Vanuit de oudste stad van Nederland fiets je langs de machtige Waal dwars door de uitgestrekte Ooijpolder. Een goede warming-up voor wat komen gaat. In Berg en Dal en Groesbeek is het namelijk klimmen geblazen met bekende (en minder bekende) kuitenbijters als de Vogelsang, Oude Kleefsebaan, Beekmansdalseweg, Zevenheuvelenweg én de Oude Holleweg. Ook pak je nog de Kartenspielerweg mee, een golvende autovrije weg dwars door het Duitse Reichswald. Beloon jezelf met prachtige uitzichten op de Zevendalseweg en Klein Amerika en trap de beentjes los op de laatste kilometers langs Maas en Waal. Eenmaal terug bij het Honig-complex kan onder het genot van een drankje de grootspraak beginnen.
Startlocatie: Bij de oude Honig-fabriek is voldoende parkeergelegenheid en horeca.
