Op De Pedalen Door Beekdaelen
De route door Beekdaelen zit vol hobbels waarvan er in totaal 8 een naam mogen hebben. Maar neem de rest zeker niet voor lief, je krijg hier weinig kilometers gratis. Vanaf de start in Hulsberg krijg je ter hoogte van het kenmerkende spekhuis van Vink al snel de eerste klim voor je wielen. De kuitenbijters die volgen zijn allemaal korte hellingen over autoluwe wegen. De onbekende Boombjesweg in Oirsbeek verdient een speciale vermelding. Dit is een smerig klimmetje, vooral na het passeren van de Mariagrot aan de voet van de heuvel. Misschien dat een weesgegroetje wonderen voor je wattage doet. Ook wonderschoon is de rest van de route. De afwisseling van weids landschap, buurtschappen en holle wegen verveelt geen minuut. En als je toch even uit de pedalen wilt klikken, dan zijn er genoeg plekken om een bak koffie met een flink stuk vlaai naar binnen te werken. Geniet ervan!
