Bossen En Vennen Bij Oisterwijk
De vele vennetjes zijn ontstaan in de laatste IJstijd. Verder op weg passeer je de beek Rosep en bereik je de heidevelden van de Kampina. Als de nevel het witte veenpluis laat dansen, is de sfeer hier sprookjesachtig. Je hoort wulp, boompieper en roodborsttapuit en komt waarschijnlijk paarden of runderen tegen. Libellen dansen om je heen als kleine elfjes.
Via Boxtel kom je in Vught en fiets je langs de plas De IJzeren Man door naar de Loonse en Drunense duinen. Hier stuift het zand waar het stuiven wil. Soms zorgt een boomwortel voor een nieuw duin, waaronder bomen haast verdwijnen. Geen wonder dat ze deze zandvlakte ook wel de Brabantse Sahara noemen.
