Oogstroute Van Leidsche Rijn
Fiets of wandel door de groene omgeving en haal je eten voor de avond vers van het land. De route brengt je langs restaurants die lekkere gerechten maken met gebruik van lokale producten. Onderweg zijn er genoeg plekken om uit te rusten, zoals bij Geertjeshoeve, waar je heerlijke geitenkaasjes kan kopen en de kinderen zich kunnen vermaken.
Tijdens de route ontdek je de verhalen over de ‘dubbel doel koe’, de ambachtelijke bakker die ooit een operazanger was, de vier gedreven vrouwen die een oude perenboomgaard hebben omgetoverd tot proeftuin, het biertje dat gebrouwen is van het hop van het Máximapark en nog veel meer. Je kan de tocht starten bij het Berlijnplein en eindigen met een biertje bij brouwerij Maximus.
