Hanzestad Op De Veluwe (Elburg - Epe)
Naast het pittoreske Elburg brengt deze route je over één van de mooiste stukken Veluwe. Veel door bos en heide waar je in alle rust geniet van de prachtige uitzichten en misschien zelfs de schaapskudde van Epe en Heerde, in actie treft. De omgeving van Epe herbergt een flink aantal interessante afstapmomenten.
Laat dit nu ook het leefgebied zijn van de Wolf. Je herkent de wolf aan zijn lange stevige poten, krachtige kop met wijduitstaande oren, rechte rug en een dikbehaarde staart die naar beneden hangt of recht achteruit staat, maar nooit gekruld naar boven. In het laatste geval trof je waarschijnlijk een hond. De kans dat je de wolf spot is niet zo groot, geniet ervan als je het bijzondere dier op gepaste afstand waarneemt, maar ga niet actief op zoek.
