Tijdens deze afwisselende route van 60km zie je het verschil tussen de landschappen van de stuwwallen van het Montferland en de enorme weidsheid daar vlak buiten. Je fietst een heel stuk langs de Oude IJssel waar een bezoek aan DRU Industriepark een aanrader is. Over de grens staat Kasteel Anholt en iets verderop landgoed Landfort. Beide prachtige landhuizen met een sterk historisch verhaal. In Dinxperlo loopt de landsgrens dwars door het dorp. Hier vind je dan ook het Grenslandmuseum. De route leid je ook een gedeelte langs de Bocholter Aa en verderop wederom de Oude IJssel.
