Stalybridge To Manchester City Centre

This route begins in the center of Stalybridge and proceeds through Dukinfield to Hyde. From here it's eastbound through Denton. After this the route joins the Fallowfield loop path sweeping round until reaching Sainsbury's in Fallowfield. The route continues straight from here before turning northbound for the final approach into the center of Manchester. The route ends by Manchester Piccadilly train station.

This route is ideal for a long run with the opportunity to pick up the pace in the late mid sections thanks to the long winding Fallowfield loop path. This route makes use of mixed terrain to switch things up. Towards Denton you will cross a playing field and then run along a dirt path and you will run along some part of the River Tame footpath too. These sections are not long and they add variety weaving in and out of local shortcuts/paths! A solid grippy pair of running shoes is recommended however you don't need to get out a trail pair for this route!
