Afzetten Gasthof Jägerrast-slapen in Stettiner hütte voor Nelleke en Leonie (JP slaapt nog een nachtje in Merano)
11,9 km (D+1205 D-38)
We moeten alles meenemen voor een nachtje in hut slapen en wandelen in hoger Alpien gebied. Ook hoofdlampje mee.
Doordat deze etappe relatief kort is, (maar wel met de nodige hoogtemeters en het gaat bijna uitsluitend omhoog) geeft het ons mogelijk nog wat energie om bij zonsondergang Steenbokken en/of gemsen te spotten (of gewoon naar een zonsondergang in de bergen te kijken.) Die schijnen daar meer te huizen dan mensen, maar zijn erg schuw. paarse stippellijn
