  Actually you can get annotations in an exported gpx file.I've used it to get annotations outside route/course into my Garmin watch from Plotaroute. In my Garmin Fenix watch they end up in Navigation-

  Hi Julien,Thanks again for the continuing help. Turns out it was the AntiVirus - Bitdefender. For some reason, that was blocking hybrid mapping. I uninstalled it and installed AVG and problem fixed.A
