    Tube directions:

    Going:
    Northern Line Colindale station:
    Take a southbound Charing Cross train to Embankment
    Change onto the District or Circle line westbound for two stops to St James’ Park station

    Return:
    St James’ Park station:
    Take eastbound District or Circle line train to Embankment
    change onto the Northern line northbound towards Edgware
    Exit at Colindale

    Timings for the day:
    Leave St James' approx 9:15/30am
    Changing of the guard at horse guards parade 11am (optional)
    Be at the Cathedral no later than 12 noon
    Mass at 12:30-1pm
    Lunch in St James' Park or the under cover area on Victoria Road
    Leave no later than 2pm
    Arrive back St James' by 3pm
    Use an empty 6th form room to give out ice-cream and medals- dismiss at 3:15pm



    This is the route to walk for the St James' Pilgrimage of Peace Relay 2026.
    STOP at the following destinations and ask some questions:
    1. Ministry of Justice- can you have peace without Justice? what are current areas of injustice?
    2. Parliament Square- place of peaceful protest against injustice- what's one thing you would protest about?
    3. The Cenotaph- what price peace? what are you prepared to sacrifice for peave?
    4. 10 Downing Street- making our voice heard, speaking truth to power- what would you like to say to the Prime Minister?
    5. Horseguards Parade- why do we have an army?
    6. St James' Park- take a deep breath, take a minute of silence, listen to the sounds, the air is even cleaner!
    7. Duck Island- a conservation island for birds to be at peace, what does it mean to be at peace?
    8. Westminster Cathedral- a house of peace.

    In the Cathedral, enter through the main doors and turn right straight away- turn left and walk down the side heading towards the front. As you get closer to the front there will be some double doors on the right that lead to the toilets, turn left at this point and sit together in a block. Use 10 minutes to sit in the peace and complete the Passports. then 15 minutes to take a look, in small groups 3/4max around the side chapels.
    Mass starts at 12:30.
