OK, I see, thanks.  Your suggestion of providing an option to download only directions that have symbols is still on the list, so hopefully we'll be able to implement that at some point.  In the meantime,  the best option for now is probably to save 2 copies of the route - one with all the directions and one with just the subset of directions.

Hi Mickhail, you can certainly use the Manage Directions to do what you wanted - to download a route with only a selection of the directions.  You can select  any you don't want to appear, delete them and then download the route.  If you don't save the changes or click UNDO to bring them the deleted directions back before saving, your original directions will still be intact.

This is wrong way I suppose.

    I wrote 26/09/14

    >I want to keep a complete set of directions like this //www.plotaroute.com/route/13174 for printing
    >but in the track needs only here these points //www.plotaroute.com/route/13776

    for example

    >Save only waypoints with symbols

or now  use Manage Directions  is not to be deleted, and for that would not insert point in the track

Manage Route DirectionsOne of the limitations of Garmin GPS devices is that they can only store a maximum of 100 directions (known as coursepoints in Garmin terminology). To help overcome this we've introduced some new functionality to make it easier to reduce the number of directions for your route.

The new "Manage Directions" button in the Directions Panel lets you delete or combine selected directions, eliminating any that you don't need and combining adjacent directions into one. Just select the ones you want to delete or combine and then with one button click you can delete or combine as many as you like. And don't worry if you make any mistakes - clicking the UNDO button will undo the last change you made!

We hope you'll find these new features helpful when editing the directions for your routes.
