Following a substantial increase in costs, we have had to remove maps provided by Esri (Satellite, Hybrid and World Topo) from our free service. While we understand this will be disappointing to some regular users of the site, it is sadly no longer viable for us to offer these maps for free, particularly against the backdrop of large rises in costs in other areas. All our other standard maps (Street Map, Terrain Map, Trails Map, Cycle Map and Transport Map) are still available free of charge and Esri maps are still available under our Premium membership, which we hope many of you will feel represents excellent value for money, at only £18 (GBP) , $25 (USD) or €22 (EUR) for a whole year.

We understand that this is a difficult time financially for many people, so we will continue to provide as much as we can for free and keep our Premium membership prices low, to make our services as accessible as possible. However, we are obviously dependent on the pricing of our suppliers, many of whom are increasing their own charges significantly in response to global economic events.

This was my number 1 planning tool, but since mtb is mostly off road, this is now useless without hybrid maps.

Wish there rather was an add supported option for people who cannot subscribe.

Understandable but not a wise move. I have been using this great tool for quite a while but haven't subscribed because of the exchange rates in my country. For those who have their income in dollars, 25 bucks isnt expensive at all. But for many others like myself its like paying 5x times more. Not reasonable. Please reconsider having cheaper or different features and other subscription options. Not here to complain just wish i could pay a fair price since i use this tool only for personal projects. Er, so use Google Earth in conjunction with Plotaroute...  Easiest if you have a dual monitor setup on a PC, but still poss on one monitor.  Ok, on a phone it could be a tad tricky...
