Sync to garmin goes across as Mountain bike?FORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

Does anyone know how I can get the imported routes to show as ROAD bike?

When I filter on Garmin  I can't find my route as I always select Road cycling.

i have the same issue. I create routes in plotaroute as Road cycling routes, then synch with Garmin and they are loaded/labelled as Mountain Bike routes.  And I cannot change them in Garmin to Road cycling without a huge Duplicate pfaff.  Any ideas? 

I have exactly the same problem the sport for Road cycling ends up as Mountain Biking on Garmin connect

Thanks for raising this issue again.
It was posted before I joined the team, so I haven't heard about this before.

From what I can see, the dev team will have to take a look at the Garmin API. I don't know if it's an issue with the information we send or if it's how Garmin handles things.

I'll update this topic as soon as I receive any news.
