Can not find my locationFORUMS HOME SEARCH FORUMS

For the past few days Plotaroute can not find my location so I cannot follow the routs I have plotted.  The LOCATION in my phone setting is ON.  Google maps and everything else are working as normal.  I have uninstalled the reinstalled the app.  I have restarted my phone.  Please advise, thanks

Hi Dave,

Location issues often come down to one specific element.

In Joe's case, he was using the Samsung browser and wasn't able to get a location on Plotaroute with it.
Installing Google Chrome and using it to add the Plotaroute web app on the phone fixed this issue for him.

Can this be the issue for you as well?

Hi Julien, thanks for your reply.

Prob not - I'm on iOS 26.6.1 and using the app. Location tracking is on.I'll need to try some other opts.

Hi Dave,

My main phone is also an iPhone on iOS 26.6.1.

When I launch the web app, my location shows a blue dot.
If I move the map, the blue dot disappears.
If I click the location/arrow icon, a red/orange dot appears and brings me back to my location.

Have you already tried deleting the web app and adding it to your home screen again?
