What setting can I use to avoid the "Finish" marker at the end of a plotted track?

Do you mean the "B" at the finish point?

If so, I'm not aware of an option to hide this. Even disabling all the display options of a route does not hide the A and B of a route.

thanks for your answer, but no, its not the A or B, its the waypoint in the gpx-file:

This waypoint is automaticly created and I would like to get rid of it. Is there any possibility in the settings?

Thanks for the additional information.

I'm not sure any setting will change that if you download the route as GPS > GPX > Track > Directions.

If you choose Waypoints = None or POI's, this should work, but will also delete all other waypoints, which doesn't seem to be what you're looking to achieve.

So sadly, I don't think you can only get rid of the finish point via the settings or download options.
