This is a shortened modified version of my GF from the CER Mod + ride I lead on 3 Jul 25 from Delamere, so it can be used for future club rides.
The ride was so well received that I made this version, that is identical from Delamere Station cafe to the destination cafe of The Barn, at 21 miles. The route after that was modified of course, in order to create a loop back to Delamere Station cafe. However, I only used known lanes from previous routes, so there are no unknowns in the entire route.
The Barn, also went down well as a new cafe to all my group on the day and a regular of mine.
Hence, the need to create a shortened club routeI. The original started in Tattenhall and of no use for a ride from Delamere.

It is a hilly route, but nothing difficult and of course the route uses the Whytegate Way, which provides cafe options, as The Barn and Whytegate station cafe are only 2 miles apart. There is also the option of Tarporley garden centre another 1.5 miles further past The Barn, but a minor half mile detour.

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
