    De Alpes Vaudoises, in het Franstalige deel van Zwitserland, is een waar fietsparadijs. Met deze pittige route pak je 3123 hoogtemeters mee en kom je door de streken Pays-d'Enhaut, Villars-Les Diablerets en Aigle-Leysin-Les Mosses. Stuk voor stuk herbergen ze alles wat Zwitserland zo bijzonder maakt: weidse vergezichten en reusachtige Alpentoppen. De zwaarste klim van de dag is de Col des Mosses vanuit Aigle. Een gemiddeld stijgingspercentage van 5,7% doet je misschien niet meteen bibberen, maar de col is verre van geleidelijk. Je ritme vinden is nog niet makkelijk. Maar dat ben je alweer vergeten als je op de top staat en helemaal klaar bent voor de volgende bergpas. De route voert je langs Natuurreservaat La Pierreuse. Dit diverse, bosrijke gebied is goed te bezoeken vanuit Les Diablerets.

    Startlocatie: Het bergdorpje Les Diablerets (maar beginnen in Villars of Aigle kan ook) Rue du Cinéma 12-16, 1660 Château-d’Œx.
