    Tijdens deze doortraproute fiets u door het dorp Vleuten, Leidsche Rijn, De Meern en Harmelen over voornamelijk fietspaden of wegen met fietsstroken en autoluwe wegen. U passeert ondermeer het schitterende Kasteel de Haar, het grootste kasteel van Nederland. Onderweg zijn er een aantal leuke horecagelegenheden onderweg.

    Als u met het openbaar vervoer komt, kunt u het beste starten vanaf treinstation Vleuten. U verlaat het station via de John F Kennedylaan (fietsstrook), deze gaat over in de Van Woerdenstraat. Bij de kruising met de Dorpsstraat, rechtdoor de Camphuysenstraat tot aan de kruising met de Haarzichtlaan. Rechtdoor, de Haarzichtlaan, bij de Y-splitsing links aanhouden, Haarzichtsingel. Bij T-splitsing rechtsaf, Thematerweg (fietspad). U bent nu op de route richting knooppunt 13.
