From the Clearwater Beach parking lot (in front of the Motor Sports Park), turn right and proceed across the Clearwater Beach concession area. Continue into Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve, passing Long Bay Beach. Turn right onto the nature reserve trail and follow the trail along the water’s edge, which will lead you back onto Cooper’s Island Road. Continue past the runway until you reach the roundabout.

At the roundabout, turn right onto Pepper Hall Road and proceed over the hill until you reach Tommy Fox Road. Turn right onto Tommy Fox Road and continue to Texas Road. Turn left onto Texas Road and walk downhill until you arrive at Great Bay Road. Turn right onto Great Bay Road and continue uphill, where the road becomes Cashew City Road. Remain on Cashew City Road until you reach Little Head Park.

Please note: Portions of the park trail are uneven, narrow, and may require walking through high grass. Exercise extreme caution while continuing along the trail by the water’s edge until you reach St. David’s Cricket Field. Exit the field onto Great Bay Road and retrace your route back to the Clearwater Beach parking lot.

    CALCULATE CALORIES

    About the Calorie Calculator

Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.

When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.

Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.
