Our Calorie Calculator estimates how many Calories you will burn using Metabolic Equivalent (MET) values from Compendium of Physical Activities. The Compendium idenitifes the relative energy cost of undertaking various activities compared with doing nothing. We then combine this with your weight and the estimated duration of the activity, taking into account the length of the route and the hills involved, to estimate the total Calories burned.
When selecting an Activity setting, select the speed you would normally travel at on flat ground.
Please remember, the estimated number of Calories is just a guide and the actual number of Calories burned may vary depending on other factors such as weather and terrain.

Mike Moralee I'm with Roger and Jamie on this route, we all kept the group going with a tight formation too. So thanks Roger Bamberough for leading us all safely round. PS my mate Mark Reidenjoyed his first Nomads outing too. 9/10 Need to avoid Maggot Hill if possible

John Curtin Med - Fast group had another enjoyable & brisk ride. The route was good 8+/10 & the loop was so much ‘fun’ we did it twice! Thanks Brian Ruggles. The Forest cr is always a good stop - except for sunny bank holidays - but everywhere is busy then. We did return via Stondon - otherwise stayed on the route. Overall at least an 8/10.

Here's my feedback:
Good route - like the flitwick loop although like everywhere else rough in places. 9/10
Cafe - v nice coffee, great location 9/10
We had 3 new or nearly new Nomads riders (Anna, Alan and Mark - I think that's right) all fitted in well - enjoyable day out.
