    The route fully utilizes the Highland Village Trails and comes in at just over 14-miles. Starting from the Parking lot next to the Highland Village Police Station, head west to get the part with the least shade completed first, pass by your car and rehydrate, etc. then continue on to pass through Doubletree Ranch Park and on to complete the Peninsula route before heading back to the Police Station.
    Excellent overall training with a lot of great hills and several long stretches of flat areas. Water fountains and bathrooms are available at several locations along the route.
    Created by the Lake Cities Run Walk Group as an Advanced Training Route for those who want to get away from the Rail Trail, add distance and hills for endurance.
