    Een fietsroute zonder grote hoogtepunten, maar landschappelijk opvallend afwisselend: mooie boerderijen, houtsingels, akkers en weiden. Een paar keer voert de route langs kleine heidevelden, restanten van de grote heide die zich vanaf hooggelegen delen van de Veluwe uitstrekte naar de natte kwelzones. Regenwater dat op de Veluwe valt, komt tientallen jaren later aan de oppervlakte in kwelgebieden in de Gelderse Vallei, het laaggelegen gebied tussen de stuwwallen van de Utrechtse Heuvelrug en de Veluwe. In het oosten volgt dan de overgang naar de Veluwse bossen. Hier fiets je door de randen van het Speulder- en Sprielderbos langs Landgoed Schovenhorst naar Putten.

    Tip: langparkeren gaat het beste aan de Brinkstraat, op parkeerplaats De Aker aan de achterzijde van het gemeentehuis (behalve op woensdag tijdens de weekmarkt). Via een fietsbrug kun je naar de voorzijde van het gemeentehuis en knooppunt 14 rijden.
