    Pewsey is a great medium sized village in Wiltshire. For the walker there's free parking and working toilets with a useful Spar shop and the village has a rail connection. This walk heads south from the village on pavements until leaving the main road and heading towards the White Horse along a drove. You approach and pass the site then after a short walk up the lane you descend the hill on a footpath shown on the OS Map alone before climbing the escarpment again and skirting the vale until finally dropping down and approaching the village ending a great pub The Royal Oak.
