    Bikes on road start (Bikeability style).
    Slight downhill on Mwd Rd. L turn in to Buslingshorpe Ln - awareness of narrowing road
    Single lane double parked and bumpy/potholes. Shift gears down after cobbles
    Roots, towpath etiquette, debris on path
    Mwd Farm - dismount before gate. Stop at cafe if doing short loop
    Fallen tree!
    Steep incline alongside stairs - can get off and walk
    Dog leg junction to join ginnel - 2nd ride leader cover on left (blind corner downhill)
    Off road gentle incline (practice gears). Steeper after footbridge
    Reach Potternewton Lane - can rest in layby. Walk up hill
    Bikes on road (consider parked cars) - awareness of steeper descent and parked cars - leaders support if forced to ride in wrong lane
    Bear L join residential off road, then R again quite steep descent before L turn in towards farm
    Narrow towpath towards Mwd Rd - gates too narrow for most handlebars
