I have been a volunteer director at Hub and Spoke Harlow C.I.C. since 2014. This is when I started to cycle as a way of avoiding a knee replacement op. I am in my early 70's and have never been fitter.

The main mission of H&S is to promote cycling in Harlow and its 30 miles of cycle tracks. In the main this is achieves through lead rides-for all levels- training and through the promotion of Dr Bike events at schools, clubs and work places, and bikeabilty training. We also recycle donated bikes and sell them to the Harlow community at cost price.

Until this year,2017, we have been successful in grant applications from ECC who actually set this business up in 2011.
