About Me
Started riding a bike at 13, in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Loved it immediately. Have cycled in England, France and the United States. Every year since 2014 I've ridden a challenge, in support of cancer research. Initially rode organised sportives then created my own challenges when COVID restrictions were implemented.
In 2022 it was a very special challenge... riding from Dorset to London with my son for the first time. Fantastic response from our sponsors.
2023 - my son Paul and I rode from London to Dorset. Once again for Cancer Research UK. Another great response from our sponsors.
2024 - restored my road bike from the 1960s. For this year's CRUK challenge 'Past meets Present 'rode it 35 miles followed by riding my BH road bike 37 miles. Great support from loyal and new sponsors.
2025 - plan to ride from 'Coast to Capital'.
