We both used Thorn touring bikes but for shorter rides round Winchester I usually use a fixed wheel Holdsworth or an old Raleigh ladies' rod braked roadster that I have converted to a fixie.

In July 2018 I ruptured my right Achilles tendon and it did not rejoin so I have permanently reduced strength in the right leg but it does not seem to reduce my cycling efficiency much.

I have switched to recording most of my rides on Strava now I have a smartphone
