Having lived in Washington, DC for 20 years, I walked everywhere in my hometown. There was so much to look at and enjoy, like being in a giant museum. After I moved to Milwaukee in 2002, I realized that Milwaukee can give the same experience. We value our historic buildings and our culture. There are stories out there just waiting to be told and new experiences waiting for all. It's my mission to open doors to everyone who visits our city and show them that Milwaukee is a place where roots can be set, where a person can succeed if they apply themselves, and an overall fun town that was built on the idea that life is something to be enjoyed.
